A card to congratulate someone on a new home using Stampin' Up! products.
Project Recipe
Cut card stock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Stampin' Trimmer:
- card from Mint Macaron Card Stock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Whisper White Card Stock
- 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" of white clouds on Mint Macaron background from Carried Away Designer Series Paper, cut to make sure the clouds are horizontal
- 1" x 3-7/8" from Mint Macaron Card Stock
- 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" from Whisper White Card Stock
- 2" x 3" from Whisper White Card Stock
- 1" x 2" from Whisper White Card Stock
- 1" 1-1/4" from Whisper White Card Stock
- 1-1/4" x 2" from Whisper White Card Stock
- three pieces of 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" of Whisper White Card Stock
Adhere the Carried Away Designer Series Paper rectangle to the large white rectangle and then to the front of the Mint Macaron card.
Use the Fringe Scissors to cut a fringe along one long edge of the Mint Macaron strip. Make sure not to cut all the way through.
Adhere the fringe strip to the card front along the base of the designer paper using Fine-Tip Glue.
Mount the solid house image from the Sweet Home Photopolymer Set on Block E. Ink it up with the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it on the 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" piece of white.
Cut out the house image by hand using Paper Snips.
Mount the roof angle image on Block D. Ink it up with the Tip Top Taupe Ink Pad. Stamp it on the 2" x 3" piece of white.
Cut out the roof angle image by hand using Paper Snips. Leave a triangle of card stock uncut inside the top of the image so you have space to adhere it.
Adhere the gray house image to the center of the roof image.
Mount the curved door image to Block B. Ink it up with the Tip Top Taupe Ink Pad. Stamp it on the 1" x 2" piece of white.
Cut out the door image by hand using Paper Snips.
Adhere the door to the bottom center of the house.
Mount the curved window image to Block B. Ink it up withe the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it on the 1" x 1-1/4" piece of white.
Cut out the window by hand using Paper Snips.
Adhere the window to the center of the house just under the roof.
Adhere the house to the front of the card on the left side with the bottom of the house tucked under the fringe.
Bend the fringe that is right in front of the house up a little and trim it down using Paper Snips. Smooth the fringe back down.
Adhere a small silver circle from the Metallic Enamel Shapes to the right side of the door as a door knob.
Mount the curving outline banner image on Block B. Ink it up with the Mint Macaron Ink Pad. Stamp it on the 1-1/4" x 2" piece of white.
Mount the "Home Sweet Home" sentiment on Block A. Ink it up with the Tip Top Taupe Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the outline banner image.
Pick out the curving banner framelit from the Home Sweet Home Thinlits. Place the stamped sentiment on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the curving banner framelit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot.
Use tiny pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the sentiment banner to the card front so it is centered under the window on the house.
Mount the triangular pennants banner image on Block B. Ink it up wit the Mint Macaron Ink Pad. Stamp it onto one of the 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" pieces of white. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Mist and Stampin' Scrub, but leave it on the block.
Ink up the pennants banner image again using the Smoky Slate Ink Pad. Stamp it onto another one of the 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" white pieces. Re-ink the stamp with Smoky Slate and stamp it again on the last piece of 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" white.
Pick out the triangular pennants banner thinlit from the Home Sweet Home Thinlits. Place one of the stamped pennants banners on a Cutting Pad on top of the Magnetic Platform on your Big Shot. Place the triangular pennants banner thinlit on top. Place another Cutting Pad on top and run through the Big Shot. Repeat with the other two triangular pennants banners.
Adhere one of the gray pennants banners to the top left corner of the card front using Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
Trim two of the triangles off the right side of the other gray pennants banner using Paper Snips. Adhere the remaining banner (three triangles) to the upper right corner of the card front using the Fine-Tip Glue Pen.
Use tiny pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the green pennants banner to the top center of the card front.
Cut an 8" piece of white ribbon from the Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack. Tie a small bow. Trim the ends. Adhere the bow to the top of the card where the left gray banner and green banner meet using a Mini Glue Dot.
