Project Recipe
Cut cardstock and designer paper pieces to the following sizes using a Paper Trimmer:
- card from Real Red Cardstock at 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" and scored at 4-1/4"
- 4" x 5-1/4" from Crumb Cake Cardstock
- 2-1/4" x 5-1/2" of red plaid pattern from Most Adored 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper
- 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 2-1/4" square from Very Vanilla Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2-3/4" from Garden Green Cardstock
- 1-1/4" x 2-3/4" from Cajun Craze Cardstock
Mount the "enjoy your day" sentiment from the Heartfelt Hellos Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it in the upper right corner of the horizontal Crumb Cake rectangle.
Pick out the pointy lace edge die from the Basic Borders Dies. Put it on top of the red plaid Most Adored Designer Paper rectangle on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine so it will cut along one long edge. Run through the machine.
Adhere the cut designer paper rectangle to the bottom of the stamped Crumb Cake rectangle so the long, smooth edge is on top and the pointy lace edge is on the bottom and almost touches the bottom of the Crumb Cake rectangle. Use Paper Snips Scissors to cut off excess designer paper on the left and right sides as needed.
Adhere the stamped Crumb Cake rectangle with designer paper attached to the front of the Real Red card.
As you are ready to stamp using the Bottled Happiness Set and Watercolor Melon Set, place the cardstock on the Stampin' Pierce Mat. Using the mat will help you get a cleaner image each time you stamp.
Mount the large, more solid glass bottle image from the Bottled Happiness Set on Block H. Ink it up with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it on the bottom of the vertical 1-1/2" x 3-3/4" vanilla strip as close to the bottom edge as possible. Make sure the top of the bottle is pointing up.
Lay the outline, large bottle image from the Bottled Happiness Set stamping side down on your work surface. Press Block H to it to mount the stamp. Ink up the stamp with the Garden Green Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped bottle image so the edges line up.
Unlock the Vintage Bottle Punch. Hold the punch upside down so you can see the punching area. Slide the stamped bottle image into the punch and get it centered in the punching area. Punch.
Adhere the punched out bottle image to the front of the card as shown so the top of the bottle is about 3/4" from the top of the card and the left side of the bottle is about 1" from the left side of the card.
Mount the triangle of watermelon flesh with a bite taken out of it image from the Watercolor Melon Set on Block C. Ink it up with the Crushed Curry Ink Pad. Stamp it in the center of the vanilla square leaving room to stamp the crust/rind and easily cut things out. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy, but leave the stamp on the block.
Re-ink the triangle of watermelon flesh with a bite taken out of it image on Block C with the Real Red Ink Pad. Stamp it over the top of the previously stamped image. Clean the stamp using the Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist Stamp Cleaner and/or Simply Shammy and put the stamp away.
Mount the longer, flatter watermelon rind image from the Watercolor Melon Set on Block G. Ink it up with the Crumb Cake Ink Pad. Stamp it beside the watermelon/pizza slice triangle as the crust.
Cut out the pizza slice by hand using Paper Snip Scissors.
Pick out the rectangular die that cuts out little confetti pieces from the Ice Cream Swirl Dies. Put it on top of the Cajun Craze strip on a platform on your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. Run through the machine. Use the paper-piercing tool on the Take Your Pick to remove the pieces as needed. Repeat with the Garden Green strip.
Use the fine tip of the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to put little black dots all over the larger Cajun Craze circle confetti cut outs to make them look like pepperoni.
Cut a 2-1/2" piece of the Lemon Lolly baker's twine included in the Baker's Twine Three Combo Pack.
Carefully tease the strands of the twine apart so you have 3 pieces.
Lay the teased apart pieces of twine across the pizza slice cut out as stringy cheese. Cut off excess bits and lay them on the pizza slice as well if desired. Let some of the teased apart pieces hang over the edges of the pizza slice though.
Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Fine-Tip Glue Pen to adhere the pepperoni circles and the small, rounded rectangular and triangular pieces (green pepper pieces) randomly to the pizza slice so they also help hold the teased apart pieces of twine in place.
Use the fine tip of the Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker to draw tiny open circles randomly onto the pizza slice as black olives.
Use Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the pizza slice to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the right edge of the bottle a bit.
Use the mini spatula on the Take Your Pick to carefully peel up 1 large cork round from the sheet of Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds making sure that you get the adhesive backing as well. Adhere it to the front of the card as shown so it overlaps the bottom left corner of the bottle image.
