W orld of Good papers makes amazing masculine cards. This card design is a great way to use those paper strips left over from other card projects.
Project Recipe
Card Base: Cut Early Espresso 8 ½ X 11 paper in half widthwise. You now have two pieces 8 ½ X 5 ½ . Fold one of the pieces in half lengthwise for your card front. The card front now measures 4 ¼ X 5 ½.
Card Mat: Cut World of Good paper 4 X 5 ¼. Cut 5 ½ piece of faux suede trim, insert ribbon slide to right side of the suede trim. Attach at bottom of card mat, wrapping ribbon to back of card mat. Attach card mat to Early Espresso card base.
Card Front: Cut Brass Foil 3 ½ X 4 ⅛
Cut 3 strips of 3 different papers from World of Good paper 1 X 4.
Attach the 3 strips to the brass foil.
Attach the brass foil to the card front above the suede trim with dimensionals.
That’s it; you have finished your card front. For the inside of your card, cut a piece of Very Vanilla 4 X 5 ¼. Stamp a sentiment or write a note before attaching this piece inside your card.
