I nteractive Anniversary Card with Fluttering Butterfly.
Project Recipe
Cutting:
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Fresh Fig
4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White (for inside)
4 1/8" x 5 3/8" Whisper White
3 1/4" x 5" Whisper White (insert)
4" x 5 1/4" Sweet Sugarplum
Preparing the Card Front:
Using the Move Me Thinlet, cut out the square shutter image about 1" from bottom of Sweet Sugarplum cardstock.
Stamp "my heart" above the window.
Stamp the small butterfly image randomly on the Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock.
Cut a half circle using the 1 1/4" circle punch at the top for the ribbon pull.
Using the Layering Square Dies, cut out a frame for the ribbon. Use the size for the inside that matches the size of the window. Adhere to the Sweet Sugarplum as a frame.
Adhere the Whisper White to the Fresh Fig Card Front.
Using Foam Strips on the sides and bottom, attach the Sweet Sugarplum piece leaving the top edge open.
Create Fluttering Image Insert:
On insert, stamp the large butterfly in Fresh Fig. It should be at the bottom of the insert piece. The second layer of the butterfly is also in Fresh Fig but you stamp off on scrap paper before stamping over the first butterfly image.
Checking for positioning by inserting the strip in the cardfront, stamp FLUTTERS towards the top of the Insert in Fresh Fig.
I added still with a Sweet Sugarplum Marker as I made it for my husband of 38 years!
Attach Sweet Sugarplum Ribbon with a staple.
Inside:
Stamp your message.
On the white cardstock
I stamped "when you're around" at the top. Then Marriage is a Journey and Good thing you get to bring your best friend along in the center.
I love You and Happy Anniversary bottom towards the right where you would then sign it.
Attach to the inside of the card.
