Project Recipe
Big Z: Cut Sweet Sorbet cardstock 11" X 4 1/2" and score at 5 1/2" and 8 1/4". Fold your edges as shown, and then burnish the edges with a bone folder. Set aside.
Little Z: Cut sweet sorbet cardstock at 3 1/2" x 9" and score at 3" and 6". Now fold the Z the same way you folded the big Z. Burnish the edges with a bone folder.
Cut the flowered bee DSP 2 1/2" X 4 1/4"-you need 2 of this size. Now cut another one from the same DSP at 5 1/4" X4 1/4". Adhere these, all centered, on the big Z panels.
Take the Pretty Pink DSP and cut at 2 3/4" X 3 1/4". Then cut 2 basic white squares at 2 3/4 X3 1/4.
Take one of your white panels and using Sweet Sorbet ink, stamp your sentiment on the bottom left of the square. Now stamp some hearts in the upper left corner. Take your Pool Party ink and stamp the bee trail starting in the lower right corner.
Adhere the unstamped white panel, centered, on the last Panel of the small Z. Adhere the Petal Pink honeycomb DSP to the middle panel of the small Z, and the stamped panel can be adhered, centered, on the front.
Time to make the Bee!!! Stamp Daffodil Delight ink on basic white paper to make the body of the bee. To make the stripes, use Black Memento ink and line the stinger up to the bottom of the bee and your stripes will fall right into place. Now give your Bee a face.
Wings: take some petal pink card stock and using petal pink ink, stamp the wings on the cardstock twice. Cut them out using the large heart on the Bee Builder punch. Now punch out 2 more wings from vellum, using the Bee Builder punch.
Now glue the vellum wings to the bee using multipurpose glue. Then you can line up the petal pink wings under the vellum and glue them down.
Now add some stampin dimensionals to your bee and stick him to the panel.
