Project Recipe
PREPARE THE CUT PIECES:
Score and Burnish Daffodil Delight Card Stock Base at 5 1/2". Cut Card Stock Base at 4 1/4”.
Cut Whisper White card stock inside layer at 4" x 5 1/4”.
Cut Poppy Parade frame at 3" by 3 1/2”.
Cut Night of Navy card stock layer at 2 3/4" by 3 1/4”.
Cut Shimmery White card stock 2 1/2" by 3"
STAMP GRAINS:
Stamp grains on the Daffodil Delight card stock base as shown using Daffodil Delight Classic Stamp Pad for a tone on tone effect. To create a horizontal line along the ground, line the grains along the bottom third panel of the card.
Stamp grains lightly on inside white layer as shown, using the Stamping-Off technique.
Stamp grains lightly on bottom left corner of the envelope, using the Stamping-Off technique.
STAMP AND COLOR ROOSTER:
Center and stamp Rooster on Shimmery White card stock layer using Tuxedo Black Stamp Pad.
Set to side to dry before coloring.
Stamp phrase on white layer using the Night of Navy Stamp Pad.
Set to side.
Color Rooster image as shown in sample using Stampin' Blends.
Cut words apart in preparation for affixing.
ASSEMBLE CARD:
Adhere Night of Navy layer to Poppy Parade layer. Adhere Rooster to Night of Navy layer.
Affix Dimensionals to back of Rooster layers. Affix small Dimensionals to back of cut words.
Tie Night of Navy Twine by first lining up the navy twine near the bottom of the grains, as shown.
Affix Rooster layer using Stampin' Dimensionals. Be careful to align the ground that the Rooster is standing on with the grains.
Affix words to right of Rooster.
Adhere inside layer with glue.
