Project Recipe
Using the largest star framelit, cut out 2 Night of Navy stars.
Using the 2nd largest star, place on your designer series paper with the 2nd smallest star in the middle and cut using your Big Shot.
Cut a star from the silver glimmer paper using the 2nd smallest star.
To put the card together, select one of the Night of Navy stars and score across one of the points about 1/2" down. Made sure this is a horizontal line so that the card will stand straight. This will create the location of the bend of the card.
Join the two navy stars at the point with the score mark. I find it best to use the fast fuse adhesive for this.
Stamp the outside of the card using the silver encore ink pad.
Adhere the silver glimmer star in the middle of the front of the card.
To prepare the designer series paper star, score each point and inner point around the star. The 5 main points will be mountain folds. The 5 inner points will be valley folds.
Squish up the star and adhere to the card. I find it best to use the multi-purpose liquid glue.
Create your banner using the hexagon punch on the end to create the points.
Cut out the "yay" using the Circle Card framelits and adhere to the silver foil banner.
Thread a basic metal button with cherry cobbler baker's twine and attach the banner and the button to the front of the card. i find it best to use glue dots for this.
Add a punched silver glimmer star to the inside for a little sparkle when the card is opened.
