T his is my first Wedding Day card made with my new Mr. & Mrs. stamp! It was made special for our nephew Nathan and his new wife, Amanda.
Project Recipe
Cut your card stock pieces. Starting with Crumb Cake card stock, cut an A2 size card to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score in the center at 4 1/4". Crease with your bone folder. Cut a piece of Chocolate Chip 3 3/8" wide x 12" long, use the scalloped edge trimmer to decorate this piece on both long edges. Cut to fit the front of your Crumb Cake Card base, 5 1/2" wide. Adhere to the card base with Snail adhesive.
Cut a piece of Very Vanilla Card Stock 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" and stamp randomly with the Flowering Flourishes Stamp set and Crumb Cake ink pad. Set to the side.
Cut a piece of Vellum at 5 1/2" x 2 7/8" and randomly stamp with the Flowering Flourishes with Staz-on White Opaque ink. Set to the side.
Stamp a piece of Whisper White Card Stock with the Mr. & Mrs. Stamp and cut it out with an Apothecary Accent die and your BigShot. Edge the piece with Crumb Cake ink to define the edges. Set aside.
Adhere the Vellum piece to the Chocolate Chip Scalloped Edge piece with Snail.
Take your piece of stamped Very Vanilla,
lay your sentiment on that and center it. Then make a hole on each side of the sentiment piece with your hole piercer and piercing mat. Push a Neutrals brad through each side. Put some Snail on the back of the Very Vanilla Piece and adhere to the Vellum.
Cut a piece of Dotted Scalloped Chocolate Chip ribbon to 4 1/2", fold in half and pierce a hole in it for the Neutrals brad. Adhere with a glue dot.
Decorate an envelope with your Flowering Flourishes and write a sentiment on the inside of your card.
A very lovely card for the new couple!
