Card Cuts- DSP = Designer Series Paper
Card Base - Cherry Cobbler - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4
Card stock:
Evening Evergreen - 4 1/8 x 5 3/8
- 3 1/4 x 3 1/4 (scalloped Circle)
Crumb Cake - 4 x 5 1/4 (inside); 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 (scalloped circle); 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 (sentiment)
Basic White - 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 (Apple stamp); 1 x 3 (Flowers)
Soft Succulent - 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 (leaves)
Soft Suede - 2 3/4 x 4 (Branches and flower centers)
Designer Series Paper: Boughs of Holly - 4 x 5 1/4; (2) 1 3/8 x 4
Project Recipe
Stamping:
1. Stamp the apple image onto the Basic White square using Black Memento ink then color in with the following Stampin Blends - Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Soft Suede, Color Lifter. (Note: I used the color lifter on the small flowers to lighten up the petals)
2. Using Black Memento Ink Stamp three of the small flowers in the bottom right hand corner of the 4 x 5 1/4 Crumb Cake Piece then using a sponge dauber and Cherry Cobbler ink daub on the color to the flowers. Stamp desired sentiment onto this sheet.
3. Stamp sentiment onto the 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 Crumb Cake piece then fussy cut around sentiment.
Die Cutting:
1. Using the Apple Blossoms Dies cut out the following:
A. From the 1 x 3 Basic White die cut three of the small flowers. Using the sponge dauber and cherry cobbler ink daub color onto the flower petals.
B. From the 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 Soft Succulent piece cut out two large leaves and one small leaf.
C. From the 2 3/4 x 4 Soft Suede piece cut out three of the branches and three of the flower centers.
D. Cut out the Apple image that you stamped and colored.
2. Using the Layering Circle Dies cut the following:
A. Cut a scalloped circle from the Evening Evergreen square piece using the #8 Die
B. Cut another scalloped circle from the Crumb Cake square piece using the #6 die.
Assemble:
1. Adhere the Evening Evergreen mat onto the card front.
2. Adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 DSP onto the Evening Evergreen piece on the card front.
3. Adhere the two DSP strip to the last piece with one flush to the bottom edge and one about 1" above the bottom one.
4. Pull threads from each end of the ribbon then adhere to card front at an angle as shown.
5. Adhere the three soft suede branches as shown.
6. Adhere the leaves as shown.
7. Adhere the Crumb Cake scalloped circle to the Evening Evergreen scalloped circle then using Dimensionals adhere to card front as shown.
8. Using Liquid glue adhere cut out apple image to the scalloped circles as shown.
9. Adhere the 3 soft suede flower centers to each of the white flowers. Then adhere both to the card front as shown.
10. Adhere the fussy cut sentiment to bottom right hand edge as shown using liquid glue.
11. Adhere 4 x 5 1/4 Crumb Cake piece to the inside of the card.
