I created this card while thinking about a friend of our family's birthday. I think the colors work well together and I was anxious to use the new Legendary Ride Bundle.
Project Recipe
Let's start with the dimensions.
Pecan Pie cs 8-1/2" x 5 1/2" scored at 4-1/4" on the 8-1/2" side; 4-1/4" x 2-1/2"
Very Vanilla cs 4" x 5/8"; 4" x 2"
Pretty Peacock 4" x 7/8"
Basic Black cs 4-7/8"
All About Autumn 6x6 DSP 5" x 3-3/4"; 4" x 2-1/4" The smaller piece is the backside of the larger one.
Adhere the large piece of the DSP to the card front.
Using the left over DSP flip it over and cut down to 4" x 2-1/2" (this is included in the dimensions listed above.)
Adhere the layers to the 4-1/4" wide Pecan Pie cs. and adhere them together to the front of the card, centered as much as possible.
Stamp the motorcycle using black ink onto Very Vanilla cs, and die cut it out using the Legendary Ride dies.
Cut the ends of the Very Vanilla strip and the Pretty Peacock strip using the Banners Pick-a-Punch.
Stamp the greeting onto the Very Vanilla strip and adhere it to the Pretty Peacock strip.
Run the 4" x 3/4" through the Mini Stampin' Cut Emboss Machine using the Geometric Patterns Embossing Folder.
Using the Whisper White watercolor pencil add dash-lines on the plain black cs.
Adhere the embossed black cs to the black, non-embossed cardstock to the desired length.
Adhere layer to card front.
Adhere the motorcycle to card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Adhere the greeting to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals, and add three Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.
