I wanted to try out this stamp set, and seeing it in the catalog (pg78), I felt intimidated. This card is not exactly the same, I flipped two of the bases in the tool box by accident, but since I had the items laid out and glued in space I decided to move it.
Project Recipe
As I was making this recipie I realized how hard it is to describe each step, so a video is coming and I will list the link here.
Here are the dimensions.
Thick Very Vanilla cardstock - 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" on the 8-1/2" side.
Very Vanilla cardstock: Lots of scraps.
Basic White cardstock- scraps
Boho Blue- scrap
Calypso Coral- scrap
Silver Foil Sheet- scraps
Gone Fishing Designer Series Paper- 5-1/2" x 4-1/4"
Using Gray Granite Ink, stamp lures and jig onto very vanilla cardstock.
Stamp the floating minnows with Petal Pink Ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock.
I used the following inks for the inside portion of the lures and jig. Calypso Coral, Petal Pink, Mossy Meadow, Misty Moonlight, Pebbled Path, Boho Blue, Wild Wheat, and Pecan Pie.
I also used whisper white and Calypso Coral cardstock to die cut the Lure body bottom right, and silver foil sheets for the lure spoons and hooks.
Using the dies and Basic Gray cardstock for the tackle box. Die cut the oval outside of the box and the tackle box sections.
The pieces that fit into the tackle box sections are different sizes, so, lay them out so you know what you plan to add to each piece. I accidently flipped the upper right with the upper left inside pieces.
I stamped the dashed lines from the stamp set onto each of the inside pieces except that lower left.
On the lower left I used the Happy Birthday stamp from the Level Complete stamp set, then I embossed with white embossing powder and added two of the silver hooks.
I used black twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials pack for two of the boxes by simply wrapping it around my finger then adhering it to eh places shown in the photo.
I also used Night of Navy Ink to stamp the feathers onto vanilla cardstock and I used Boho Blue cardstock to die cut out the small feather. There is not a stamp for this piece, just the die.
Adhere the boxes and the outside of the tackle box onto the card front.
Add the inside pieces to the tackle box lining up the cardstock into the correct sections of the tackle box.
I plan to film this card while I'm creating it sometime soon, and I will provide you with the YouTube link to it.
