I
created this card as part of a shoebox swap. Credit goes to gaylestamps for the inspiration.
All of my supplies are Stampin' Up!
Dimensions:
Calypso Coral 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
Garden Green 5-1/4" x 4" embossed with Metal Plate 3D Embossing Folder
Crushed Curry 8-1/2" x 2-1/2" scored at 2-1/8", 4-1/4", and 6-3/8" (The easiest way to score is 4-1/4" then 2-1/8" from each end.)
Basic White 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" for crane; 3-3/4" x 1-1/4" for greeting; 2" x 1-1/4 for two clouds (determine what die set you plan to use to cut out the clouds. In this project I used the Lazy Days dies.); 2-1/2" x 1-1/4" for inside greeting; 2" x 1-1/2" for the lift; 2-1/4" x 1-1/5" for cement truck; 2" x 2"; scraps for person, balloons, arrow, and gifts.
Project Recipe
Fold the Calypso Coral cardstock in half along the score line.
Emboss the Garden Green cardstock and adhere it to the front of the card.
Stamp the crane in Crushed Curry onto the 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" Basic white cardstock and use the third largest square Stylish Shapes Die to cut it out.
Adhere it to the card front using Dimensionals.
Cut out the banner for the greeting using the largest fishtail die then stamp the greeting using Calypso Coral, and adhere it to the card front using Dimensionals.
Stamp the person, balloons, arrow, cement truck, lift, and presents onto white cardstock and fussy cut.
Using Water Color pencils color the images. Adhere the pieces to the Crushed Curry strip of cardstock.
Hint: Cut the front and back of the cement truck as close as possible to fit onto the 2-1/8" section.
Stamp the third section with the hazard strip using Crushed Curry ink.
Stamp the inside greeting onto white cardstock then use the second largest banner die to cut it out.
Feed the end of the white card strip through a larger die by lining up the die to cut off the fish tail from the end making sure the other end of the card stock is on top of the die so it isn't also cut.
Using adhesive, adhere all items to the strip of Crushed Curry cardstock.
Stamp the clouds onto white cardstock then cut the clouds out using the Lazy Days Dies, Little Dreamers Dies, or Playing in the Rain Dies.
Lightly color the clouds using Wather Color Pencils.
Adhere the clouds to the inside.
