A fall themed cracker box - great for favors or little tokens of thanks.
Project Recipe
Gather your supplies:
5 1/2" x 8 1/2" Very Vanilla card stock
(4) 1" x 5 " DSP (Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP)
(2) 14" Metallic Ribbon (Gilded Autumn Suite)
(1) 1/2" x 4 1/2" Very Vanilla
(1) 1/2" x 4 1/2" Champagne Foil (Or Brushed Metallic card stock)
Acorn Trinkets
Scrap of Crumb Cake card stock
Beautiful Autumn Bundle (Stamp set/Punches)
Ink pads: Cinnamon Cider, Cajun Craze, Early Espresso)
Simply Scored Scoring Tool
Multipurpose glue, glue dots, Stampin' Seal +, Tear N Tape
Stampin' Dimensionals
Paper Snips
Bone Folder
(Pencil/ruler)
Using Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score 8 1/2" side of Very Vanilla card stock at:
1/2", 1", 1 1/2", 7", 7 1/2", and 8"
Using Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score 5 1/2" side of Very Vanilla card stock at:
1 1/4", 2 1/2", 3 3/4", and 5"
Burnish all score lines well with your bone folder.
Adhere Designer Series Paper to 'middle' sections of Very Vanilla card stock - I used Stampin Seal + but any adhesive (your choice) will do.
Adhere Tear n Tape to 1/2" fold - remove backing and affix to corresponding side of your box.
Make a small tick a little under the 1/2" mark from each horizontal score line (on the 1" and 7 1/2" vertical score lines)
Cut up on a diagonal to that small pencil mark from the other vertical scores lines.
Repeat at all horizontal score lines so your finished product look like photo.
Decorate as desired. I stamped "Have a beautiful day" in Cinnamon Cider on the 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of Very Vanilla card stock, then cut the end at a diagonal; adhered it to the piece of foil paper (also cut at diagonal). I adhered this piece to the front of the box using Stampin' Dimensionals.
I stamped outlines of the acorns and two leaves in Early Espresso then filled in with a combo of Early Espresso (stamped off) and Cajun Craze (stamped off). I punched these pieces out using the punches and adhered them to the sentiment piece with glue dots.
I tied bows on both sides using the Metallic Ribbon (this cinches the box closed) putting an acorn trinket on one side.
